How do I add photos and videos to my match?
You can add photos and videos to a match before, during, or after it's played — to bring the match to life for your team and followers. There are two ways: upload existing media from your photo library, or record videos directly with the in-app capture tool.
ℹ️ Available for team members with Content rights.
To add a photo or video:
Create a match if it doesn't exist yet.
Open the match in the Mingle Sport app.
Tap the add media option from one of three places:
On the match overview
On the match Media tab
In the Match Feed
Choose either:
Take a picture — opens your phone camera
Choose from library — picks an existing photo or video
(Optional) Add a description.
Tap Publish.
The media uploads to the match. Upload time varies depending on your internet connection.
How do I record match videos with the in-app capture tool?
The capture tool lets you record multiple short videos in a row without leaving the match — useful for grabbing several moments quickly during play.
Open the match in the Mingle Sport app.
Tap the add media option from any of the three entry points (match overview, Media tab, or Match Feed) and pick the camera option.
Grant access to your photo library so Mingle can save the recorded videos.
Tap Use camera, then start and stop filming.
The video is saved to the capture tool. Repeat to record more clips without leaving the tool.
Tap the square in the bottom left to review your clips. From here you can delete clips, mark favourites, or publish them separately.
Tap Post, add an optional description, and the video uploads to the match.
Note: clips recorded with the capture tool are also saved to your phone's photo library.
How do I delete a photo or video from a match?
If you've added media to a match by mistake, you can remove it:
Open the match in the Mingle Sport app.
Go to the Media section.
Find and tap the photo or video you want to delete.
Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
Tap Delete post.
The media is removed from the match.
What file types and sizes are supported?
Mingle Sport supports videos in H.264 / MP4 format, up to 100 MB per file. If a video is larger, it won't upload — trim or re-encode the clip first.
Photos can be uploaded in standard image formats (JPG, PNG, HEIC) from your phone's library.
Who can add or delete match media?
Any team member with Content rights can add or delete photos and videos. If you don't see the add media option or the three-dots menu on a media item, ask your team admin to update your role permissions.
