How do I assign a Team Boost to my team?

Anyone connected to a team — member or follower — can buy and assign a Team Boost to that team. There are two ways: directly from the team page when you buy it, or from your Boost Wallet if you've already purchased or redeemed one.

Option 1: assign from the team page

Open your team page, tap the Level indicator (e.g. "Level 0"), and buy a Team Boost. The boost is automatically assigned to that team — no extra step needed.

Option 2: assign from your wallet

If you bought a Team Boost in your wallet, it sits there unassigned until you assign it to a team. See the steps below.

How do I assign a Team Boost I bought in my wallet?

1. Open the Mingle Sport app and tap your profile (upper left on Home)

2. Select Team Boosts

3. Tap your unassigned Team Boost

4. Select the team you want to boost

5. Tap Assign Team Boost

6. You'll see confirmation that the boost is activated

How do I reassign a Team Boost to a different team?

If your boost comes from a subscription, you can move it to a different team at any time:

1. Open the Mingle Sport app and tap your profile (upper left on Home)

2. Select Team Boosts

3. Tap the assigned Team Boost you want to reassign

4. Select the team you want to reassign it to

5. Tap Assign Team Boost

6. You'll see confirmation that the boost is activated on the new team

The source team is levelled down accordingly, and admins on both teams are notified. Useful if you join a new team or start a new season.

One-off boosts (e.g. from certain promos or Mingle-granted boosts) are auto-assigned and cannot be reassigned.

Can I move my Team Boost between teams?

Yes — as long as the boost comes from a subscription. Subscription-based Team Boosts live in your Boost Wallet and can be reassigned to any team you're a member of or follow. There's no limit on how often you reassign.

I bought a Team Boost but my team is still Level 0 — what's wrong?

This is almost always because the Team Boost hasn't been assigned to a team yet. Buying a boost puts it in your Team Boost wallet, and in some cases it isn't assigned to your team automatically. The fix is quick:

1. Open the Mingle Sport app and tap your profile (upper left on Home)

2. Select Team Boosts

3. Tap the unassigned Team Boost

4. Select the team you want to boost

5. Tap Assign Team Boost

Your team should upgrade to Level 1 (or higher) immediately. If it still shows Level 0 after assigning — or if you don't see your purchased boost in the wallet at all — reach out to our team. You can message us from the in-app support chat (on web and in the app), or email [email protected] and we'll sort it out.

What happens to my Team Boost when I do a season transfer?

Your Team Boost does not transfer automatically when you move your team to a new season. The boost stays connected to the old (archived) team, and the new team starts at Level 0 until you reassign it.

To move your Team Boost to the new team, follow the reassign steps above — open your wallet, tap the assigned Team Boost, and pick the new team.
