How do I import my match schedule from a file?

If you have a whole season to add, you don't have to type in each match one by one. On Homebase you can import your schedule from a CSV or Excel file and add all your matches at once. Importing is available on Homebase (web) only — not in the mobile app.

Here's how it works:

1. Sign in to homebase.mingle.sport and open your team.

2. Go to the Schedule section, click Create, and choose Import schedule.

3. Choose what you're importing — your upcoming season or matches you've already played — and where it comes from: the Mingle Sport template or your own file.

4. Upload your file. If it's not the Mingle template, you'll match your columns to Mingle's fields (see below).

5. Check your opponents, then check the matches.

6. Confirm — your matches are added to the schedule in one go.

Your team gets notified about upcoming matches just as they would if you'd added each one by hand.

What should my file look like?

The easiest option is to download the Mingle Sport template and fill in your matches — the columns are already set up correctly. You can also upload your own CSV or Excel file (for example, a league export) and match your columns during import.

Whichever you use, each row is one match, with these columns:

When you upload your own file, you tell Mingle which of your columns is the date, which is the opponent, which is home or away, and so on — so make sure your file has a column for each. Date of the game, Opponent team, and Home or away are needed for every match; start time, arrival time, and venue are added when they're in your file.

ℹ️ If a date could be read more than one way (like 03-04), Mingle shows it written out before you confirm, so you can check it's the day you meant.

How do I check my opponents before importing?

Before your matches are added, Mingle looks at every opponent in your file and shows you the list so you can sort them out in one step:

• Already in Mingle — opponents you've played before are matched automatically.

• Will be created — new opponents Mingle recognises from the name are created for you.

• Needs your input — for anything Mingle isn't sure about, you confirm the match or add the club yourself.

Once the list looks right, Mingle creates all the new opponents at once — no need to add them one by one. After that, you move on to reviewing the matches themselves.

Can I import matches I've already played?

Yes. When you start the import, choose matches you've already played to bring in your history. The import adds the matches themselves — scores are added manually afterwards, not from your file. Once the matches are in, open each one in the schedule and enter the result to complete your stats and season history.

Played matches are treated as finished: your team isn't notified and there's no RSVP for them. Until you add a result, a match stays result-pending.

How many matches can I import at once?

You can import up to around 100 matches in one go, for one team at a time. If you run more than one team, import each team's schedule separately.

Every match needs at least a date, an opponent, and home or away — rows missing one of those can't be imported. If something doesn't look right during the review step, you can fix it before you confirm.

Where can I find my matches after importing?

Your imported matches appear on the Schedule just like matches you add by hand, in date order. From there you can open any match to set a line-up, track attendance, add match content, or keep score. To change a single match, open it and edit it as usual.
