How do I rate a match?

How do I rate a match?

After every match your team has played, the whole team and team support can rate the team's performance on a 1–5 scale (Poor / Moderate / OK / Great / Awesome). The team's match rating is the average of all votes, and feeds into your team stats over time.

To rate a match:

  1. Open the Mingle Sport app to the Home screen.

  2. At the top of the Home screen, tap the Vote and rate task for the match.

  3. Pick your rating — Poor, Moderate, OK, Great, or Awesome.

  4. Tap Submit.

The same Vote and rate task also includes the MVP, Workhorse, and Playmaker votes — you can rate the match and cast your award votes in one flow.

When does match rating open?

Match rating opens automatically 110 minutes after the scheduled match start time and stays open for 24 hours by default (or it closes earlier if all eligible team members have rated). The rating window is the same as the voting window for MVP, Workhorse, and Playmaker — they share one setting. Results are revealed when the window closes.

Team admins on premium teams (Team Boost Level 1+) can adjust the window duration. See How do I set up Match Awards & Match Rating?.

Who can rate a match?

By default, any team member can rate the match. Team admins on premium teams (Team Boost Level 1+) can restrict rating to specific roles — for example, only players. The same role restriction applies to voting for the awards: whoever can rate the match can also vote for MVP, Workhorse, and Playmaker. See How do I set up Match Awards & Match Rating? for the configuration options.

How is the match rating score calculated?

The score is the average of all team members' ratings on the 1–5 scale. After about a week, the app also shows whether your team's match rating is trending up or trending down based on recent results.

The match rating is separate from the MVP, Workhorse, and Playmaker votes — those are tracked as player awards, not as a team-wide score.

Can my team turn match rating off?

Yes. Team admins can toggle match rating on or off in Team Settings → Stats preferences & visibility → Match Rating. This toggle is independent from the MVP/Workhorse/Playmaker voting — you can have voting without rating, or rating without voting.
