What is a Team Boost?

A Team Boost is a token that levels up your team. The number of Team Boosts assigned to a team determines its Team Level, and higher levels unlock more advanced features for every member (and in some cases followers) of that team. Anyone connected to a team — member or follower — can buy Team Boosts and assign them to that team. Boosts live in the buyer's personal Boost Wallet, where they can be assigned, reassigned, or unassigned across teams the buyer is connected to.

Team Boosts are sold as monthly or annual subscriptions through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

By default, every team starts at Level 0 — the free tier. Level 0 already includes core features like scorekeeping, Line-up, Attendance Tracking, team chat, and Leaderboards.

What Team Boost levels are there?

There are three Team Boost levels, each requiring a specific number of tokens:

Level 0 — free tier (default). Core scoring, scheduling, attendance, and chat features for every team.
Level 1 — Elevate (1 Team Boost). Advanced line-up tools, Minutes Played and card tracking, substitution management, training plans, admin permissions, and Mingle Plus for admins.
Level 2 — Elevate Plus (2 Team Boosts). Everything in Elevate, plus Mingle Plus for all team members (calendar sync, ad-free experience). Coming soon to the apps — already available for clubs via Club Deals.
Level 3 — Performance (3 Team Boosts). Everything in Elevate Plus, plus player evaluation, physical performance tests, and advanced athlete monitoring. Coming soon.

A team's level equals its total number of assigned, unexpired tokens — regardless of who bought them. Multiple people (e.g. a coach and a parent) can combine boosts on one team.

What's included in a Level 1 (Elevate) Team Boost?

Level 1 adds the most-requested premium features on top of the free tier:

Everything in the free tier (scorekeeping, Line-up, Attendance Tracking, Liveblog, video, chat, and more)
Advanced line-up features (line-up versions, hide line-up before a match)
Minutes Played and cards tracking
Substitution management
Training plans and staff notes
Admin permissions for team managers
Access to Homebase with extra insights and stats
Mingle Plus for team admins (calendar sync, ad-free experience)

At Level 2 (Elevate Plus) and above, Mingle Plus extends to all team members — not just admins.

How do I boost my team?

A Boost subscription is a product in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store that gives you one or more Team Boost tokens. Each token can be assigned to a team to raise that team's level.

Subscription tiers:

Elevate (Tier 1) — 1 Team Boost token
Elevate Plus (Tier 2) — 2 Team Boost tokens
Performance (Tier 3) — 3 Team Boost tokens

Every tier has a monthly and annual option. The exact structure may differ slightly between Apple and Google.

Can I move a Team Boost to another team?

Yes — if your boost comes from a subscription, you can reassign it to a different team at any time from your Boost Wallet. This is useful if you join another team or start a new season — see How do I assign a Team Boost to my team? for the steps.

One-off boosts (e.g. from a promo or a Mingle-granted boost) are auto-assigned and cannot be reassigned.

How do I cancel my Team Boost subscription?

You can cancel your Team Boost subscription at any time in your Apple or Google subscription settings. The subscription ends at the next renewal date and won't auto-renew. See How do I cancel my Mingle Sport subscription? for step-by-step instructions.
